Despite the rainy day, our volunteers picked up about 100 bags of litter, over 20 bags of recyclables and almost 30 tires.

This coordinated effort to clean up public areas of the neighborhood, such as streets, alleys and parks was an unqualified success! Many thanks to PA CleanWays for their guidance and donation of supplies and provisions for the event. Keep Natrona clean!

Twelfth Night Festival January 2006

Featured at the event were horse-and-buggy rides, raffles, the Kennywood Trolley, clowns, art projects for children, face painting, balloon making, the Hilltop Hose fire truck, carolers, a bonfire and various refreshments. The bonfire at the culmination of the event was fueled by discarded Christmas trees and topped by the Burning Man sculpture as seen at the top of this page.
